Product Care Guide

At The Luna Collection, we design our accessories to be stylish, functional, and durable — but a little care goes a long way. Each material has its own needs, so please follow the care guidelines below to keep your products looking their best.

Luxury Leather Range & Suede Accents

Blot off wet stains with a paper towel. Gently dab white vinegar on stains using a clean towel. Once dry, brush gently using a suede brush or clean dry towel (avoid circular motions — brush back and forth).
Do not machine wash or submerge in water. Can be professionally dry cleaned.
Avoid wearing in wet conditions — suede is a porous material and may bleed if saturated.
Dye Transfer Warning: Due to the natural properties of suede, some colour transfer may occur if the product becomes wet or is stored against light fabrics.

Neoprene Harnesses, Leads & Collars

Machine wash at 30°C with a small amount of laundry detergent.
Do not use fabric conditioner.
Leave flat to air dry — they dry quickly.
Do not tumble dry or iron.

Cotton Rope Leads

Spot clean with warm water and mild detergent or wipe with a damp cloth.
For a deeper clean, soak in a bowl of cold water with a pea-sized amount of gentle detergent. Swirl gently, rinse in clean water, and hang to dry.
Do not squeeze, wring or machine wash.
Do not submerge any leather or suede accents — treat these using the leather care guide above.
Dye Transfer Warning: These are hand-dyed items. Colours may fade with repeated washing, and dye transfer may occur. Wash separately.

Bow Ties & Sailor Bows

Hand wash only with mild detergent.
Air dry flat.
Do not iron.

Bandanas, Snoods & Snood Scarves

Hand wash or machine wash cold/30°C with similar colours.
Air dry only — do not tumble dry.
Can be ironed on low heat.

Dog Clothes (including seasonal jumpers)

Turn inside out.
Machine wash at 30°C with similar colours.
Air dry recommended. Can be ironed on low heat if needed.

Personalised ID Tags

Wipe clean with a damp cloth when dirty.
For heavier dirt or mud, wash gently with mild soap under running water.
Dry thoroughly with a towel to protect the hardware finish.

Pewter Keyrings & Charms

Wipe with soapy water and a soft cloth.
Do not use abrasive cleaners.

Mugs

Porcelain & Ceramic Mugs: Dishwasher and microwave safe, but the design will last longer with hand-washing.
Enamel & Glossy Black Mugs: Hand wash only. Do not heat food or liquid directly inside — this can damage the coating.

Printed Apparel (T-Shirts, Sweatshirts, Hoodies)

Machine wash cold, inside-out, on a gentle cycle with mild detergent.
Do not use bleach, fabric softener, or dry clean.
Tumble dry low or hang to dry (recommended).
Use a cool iron inside-out. Do not iron over the print.
Washing on high settings may cause shrinking or print damage.

Leggings

Machine wash cold with like colours.
Do not tumble dry or dry clean.
Avoid contact with rough surfaces, which can damage the fabric and pull out fibres.
